Engage Games is the trading name of Betmate Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 12612922), with its registered office at Office 09, 12 Jordan Street, Liverpool, L1 0BP. We’re registered with the Information Commission (ICO) under number ZB083218.

What we collect and why
Enquiries
When you use our contact form, we collect your name and email address, and your company and message if you add them. If you email us, we receive whatever you send. We use this to reply and, if it goes somewhere, to discuss working together.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: answering the businesses that contact us. We need at least a name and an email address to reply. We won’t add you to a marketing list.
Clients and partners
We hold the work contact details of people at the businesses we work with, which we get from them or their colleagues. We use them to manage our work together, on the same legitimate-interests basis.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn’t use cookies. It keeps two small items in your browser:
- Intro memory: when you last saw the homepage’s opening animation, so it plays once a month rather than on every visit. It stays until you clear your browser’s site data or switch it off.
- Your cookie settings: what you’ve chosen in Cookie settings, so we remember it. It stays until you change your settings or clear site data.
Vercel, which hosts the site, also provides our cookie-free analytics on our behalf. It counts visits and measures how quickly pages load, using a temporary identifier made from your request that it discards after 24 hours. We only see totals. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: improving the site.
You can switch off the analytics and the intro memory at any time in Cookie settings, which is also in the footer of every page.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers who host the site and its analytics, handle our contact form, and run our email and team messaging.
Some of these are based in the United States. Where your information leaves the UK, it’s protected by the UK–US data bridge or by contractual safeguards approved under UK law. Contact us for a copy of these safeguards.
How long we keep it
We delete enquiries that don’t lead to working together 24 months after our last contact. If we do work together, we keep your contact details for as long as we do, then for 6 years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, and ask us to correct it, erase it or restrict how we use it. Email privacy@engagegames.io.
Your right to object: you can object at any time to us using your information on the basis of legitimate interests. Email privacy@engagegames.io and we’ll stop, unless we have compelling grounds to continue.
Complaints
To complain about how we’ve handled your information, email privacy@engagegames.io. You can also complain to the Information Commission at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this notice and the date at the top before we start.
